So you have made the decision to purchase a home!  That's great news.  Rates are low, homes are affordable and you have many good choices.  Below are the steps you should follow when you come to the decision to purchase.  By following these steps you will ensure your purchase process will be a smooth and happy one.

 

Take a look at the Neighborhood where you want to purchase.  Narrow it down to 1 or 2 areas. 

 

Make a list of what you want in a home.  How many bedrooms?  Bathrooms?  1 story or 2?  Single or Twin?  Fireplace?  Central Air?  This will make it much easier to narrow down the homes you should look at.

 

Find a Top Realtor where you are searching to represent you.  It will cost you nothing to hire a Realtor and a Top Realtor will know the neighborhoods well and be able to provide you with expert advice. 

 

Speak with a Direct Lender regarding financing and obtain a pre-approval.  When you find the perfect house you will be ready to submit an offer.
