Relocating to Another Area? You can Choose Your Own Realtor!
Relocating to another area due to a job is stressful enough, but finding a great Realtor who can take care of the details while you are gone can be very difficult. Most companies who are relocating their employees encourage them to choose one of the Real Estate Companies on their list. That can mean a Realtor from out of the area, who knows nothing about the area and will not be able to truly service the Seller.
I have seen this happen on numerous occasions. Homes completely overpriced or underpriced due to the Seller using a Realtor who knows nothing about their neighborhood. Just a week ago I showed a listing, through a Realtor working for a relocation company, that listed the wrong number of bedrooms for the house. Even though this Realtor received my feedback they made no changes regarding their mistake.
My advice? When you are involved in relocating for your company understand that you can use any Realtor you choose. That Realtor will need to sign paperwork with the relocation company agreeing to pay a referral fee. (that is the reason your company wants you to use their Relocation Realtors). Once the Realtor YOU choose has that paperwork signed you are ready to go!
Do not let anyone tell you this cannot be accomplished. I have listed many homes for clients relocating and have fully cooperated with their relocation companies. My clients had the peace of mind that I am consistently in their neighborhood checking on their home, I know what is needed for the Use and Occupancy and I bring many buyers into Phoenixville in turn selling their home.
While you are focusing on moving to a different area and re-establishing yourself let a FULL-TIME Realtor experienced in your neighborhood take care of the details for selling your house!

If you feel like what you are doing is not appropriate. Then you should do something else to achieve that. Make use of your talent as an agent. Learn new things from professional Australia Real Estate owner and they might give you something that you need.
