The First Steps in Purchasing a Home
The First Steps in Purchasing a Home
Many people differ on the first step in purchasing a home. Some believe you should get pre-approved for a mortgage first and others feel you should secure a Buyer's Agent. My opinion is to secure a Buyer's Agent and they can assist you with the pre-approval. There are going to be many questions regarding the mortgage that a Realtor can answer for you.
Think of the people involved in a Real Estate Purchase as a triangle. You have the Realtor, the lender and yourself, the purchaser. The Realtor truly is the glue that holds that triangle together. If you have a question regarding the mortgage the Realtor can assist you with that or at the very least find the answer for you. The Realtor will locate homes that are available and meet your specifications and take you on tours of those homes.
The first step, in my opinion, is to secure a Buyer's Agent who is very familiar with the purchase area and is a Full-Time Realtor who can dedicate their time to you. To view all homes that are available go to www.JenniferDaywalt.Remax.com where you will find a complete list!
